Two to the Oh to the Oh to the Three

January 2nd. Anybody out there still doing good with their resolutions? *lol*

I don't think I made any serious resolutions. To be honest, I find the most sensible time for me to make my resolutions (if I'm going to make any) is on my birthday. "Ok, Le, you're 2x years old now. A little older, a little wiser. If you're going to smarten up you're gonna do the following..."

Anyway, I've noticed some itty bitty changes I've made.

For one, and this is really stupid, but I've managed to be disciplined enuf to do my eyes for the past lil while. While it's not a resolution, I intend to keep it up simply 'cuz I've always liked my eyes a lil more jazzed up. Ixnay on the other cosmetic tasks, though.

The typical resolution of eating less/working out more is simply going to have to wait seeing as the family social commitments are not over yet. While I don't plan on waiting that long, it'll be hard to keep the eating down until mid January at the very earliest. Birthdays galore coming up. And you know how relatives can be if you don't try what they brought, it's like a huuuuuuge insult. Even just a lil bit of everything adds up big time. I definitely miss the pool though, and I'm missing out on the one-on-one sessions with Billy Blanks. Methinks it's time to start Tae-Bo-ing my ass once again.

Huge resolution that I should've gotten resolved months and months ago: find myself a new doctor. I don't have a doctor to call my own other than my oncologist, dentist, and my head-neck specialist. I need a doctor for a decent checkup, 'cuz I seriously haven't had one in 10 years or so. I made an effort to search last summer, but it appears to be rather difficult to find a doctor (preferably female) that is taking new patients that works in my end of the city. *sigh*

Also, I wanna pay off my student loan and all my credit cards. I really feel this is my year to make it happen. And with whatever I've got left at the end of all that repayment, I'm gonna treat myself to another trip, a longer one.

Which also reminds me to remind my friends to start saving up for Le's birthday-o-rama. Less than 15 months left to save! I intend on keeping it under 2 grand, ideally 1500 max. That's 100 bucks a month! Since my love affair with Mexico has been rejuvenated by my first actual taste of the country it's looking like a serious contender against Hedonism III. We'll see.
