Double dog dare I'm hesitant about writing about this in here, especially since I never know who's reading this. However, someone has "challenged" me to write about it...'cuz, you know, if you can't be honest in your blog then you're not using it properly. If anything, my past experiences tell me I'm a submissive. I sometimes try to paint myself as the helpless victim...but truth be told it turns me on. It's what I want: a guy who takes over all control. A far cry from everyday Leah. Any attempts by others to try and tell me what to do is met with utter defiance. How often does some random stranger single you out and get you off with their hand? Then again, if it was a common thing society would be in a heap-load of trouble. (Is heap-load even a word?) No kidding the streets wouldn't be safe. It also shows in my choice of erotic material. I enjoy reading stories/watching "movies" of non-consent and control. Before, I co...
"Let the sunshine in" So let the sun shine in Face it with a grin Smilers never lose And frowners never win So let the sun shine in Face it with a grin Open up your heart and let the sun shine in Does anyone else remember that episode of the Flintstones? For some reason I can remember it quite well. I recently saw a tshirt with Pebbles and Bamm Bamm playing their instruments with the quote "let the sunshine in" printed beneath them and I HAD to have it. The sun has definitely been shining here lately. I wish winter was truly over, but we can only be so lucky. Mijo's going to NYC for St. Patrick's Day/his spring break. I'm unbelievably jealous. I hope he eats a knish and a cannoli on my behalf. Oooh, and a 24k gold donut, too! I don't know if he'd do "touristy" things like I would, so we'll just leave him to the eating. I'm so out of loop in the blog community, I feel like the hermit-ish old lady who holes up in her house...
It feels like only yesterday You know I've been too busy/lazy to write when even the bastitch posts more frequently AND more recently than yours truly. It's almost 1 a.m. and I'm rocking the pearls my godmother gave me for Christmas simply because I want to. A necklace made of freshwater Japanese Biwa pearls, thankyouverymuch. I may not have a keen eye for spotting a Mikimoto pearl but all I can say is my pearls rock. I've never seen anything like them. I've heard that a pearl bracelet (whether real or fake) is a nice *cough* prop for "manual" stimulation of a guy. Since mine are all different shapes due to their freshwater-ness I doubt they'd do the trick, but it's not like I'd appreciate using my necklace for that purpose anyway. *sigh* I'm all "Asian fetish"ed out for now. I can't be motivated to respond to J-Man's diatribe. Instead, I'll answer some of my comments: Des mentioned that she didn't know w...
Again Leah's note: The views and opinions expressed in this piece of writing are not mine. I have cut and paste it into my own personal blog to preserve the author's own blog. This is so I have their post here to be able to compare it to my own sentiments later on. It's Time To Straighten Out This Asian Fetish Bullshit There are a number of blog-like postings meandering around the internet regarding an affliction running increasingly rampant among my anglo brethren -- the asian 'fetish'. You may find one such article HERE Courtesy of J. Cheng, JD Candidate. They're good articles. And they are amusing. Hee hee har har. However, I feel that those of us with a legitimate physical preference for certain types of women need to have our voices heard. First I want to break Asian fetishists into two distinct groups. 1) Hella Lame Fools 2) Connoisseurs For an explanation of what Group 1 Hella Lame Fools consist of, please refer to the above linked website. A few highl...
A chariot awaits The Blonde's days here in Calgary are coming to an end. But we still had our bit of fun at Coyotes again last Thursday. This time I got us a limo package to get us there in style. Daisy even joined us despite it being a school night. :) I regret not expanding the Luscious Sex Kittens' clubbing horizons, but I've forgotten how being a budgeting university student limits the kind of places you want to go to for a good value. Though the Blonde was out of town on the weekend, me and the Redhead made plans to meet at Mynt Ultralounge on the Saturday. Despite having to pay cover (ah, the college student's lament) she was going to come check it out with us since rumor had it that Saturday would be the last night for the Ice Lounge. Alas, the rumor was wrong. Daisy, Flag Girl, and I even headed out there at the unheard of clubbing hour of 9 pm just so we wouldn't have to battle the throngs who would be coming for the Ice Lounge's final nigh...
Thriller Night I'm backposting a lot of this stuff. The circuitry in the basement was out of commission for a while and so was my ability to write and email. Thriller is the number 1 video in history. I agree wholeheartedly. And in other Thriller news, I finally saw 13 Going On 30 . It was cute but it didn't blow me away the way I was expecting it to based on everyone else's reviews. Maybe my expectations were too high. And by the way, me and my 2nd grade class (back when I was in 2nd grade, of course) could SO do a better job of the Thriller choreography than Ms. Garner did. :)
A million blessings alight upon thy back After many weeks of being MIA, I finally found Rocky. There art thou happy. I finally received my benwahs. There art thou happy. And yeah, that's all I've got for now. What do I think of the benwahs? Well, first time I saw them they were a lot smaller than I imagined them to be. And then I held them in my hand and they really were heavy for their size. So I tried them out. Hold them hold them hold them hold them hold them Then I eased up a bit and they stayed there. Hmm, piece of cake. These benwah things are overrated. Totally forgot about them until I headed upstairs. Ah ha! They're not so easy to hold in now! Needless to say, I completely failed THAT exercise. However, I still think they're overrated.
What can I say? Weird Kid had his company snowboarding/skiing party last Sunday so he took Baby Sis, Ro Boy, and myself along. (His girlfriend couldn't come) It was my first time snowboarding ever . Unfortunately, Baby Sis wasn't keen on it after her first attempt at the first half of the bunny hill and someone had to be with Baby Sis at all times so I got in only one more try at the bunny hill (this time the full length of it, ooooooh) before I let Weird Kid and Ro Boy go on their own so as to not waste their entire evening. On the flip side, at least it barely cost us anything to try it out. I'd love to go try it again. I figure give me another few runs on the bunny hill and I'll be able to figure out which way I'm supposed to be leaning so as to carve in a certain direction. I tend to think it out too much. My MAIN problem is being able to get up so I can actually go down the hill. Methinks my arms are too short 'cuz I just can't push myself up...

Pin me You're Betty Grable! What Classic Pin-Up Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
Where do I begin? The great thing (usually) about living is that not only do you change, but everyone and everything around you changes, too. Each at their own pace, whether or not you're ready for it or willing to accept it, for better or for worse. Everyone's got their own growing pains, their own dance. We dance in groups, but each person still has their own role in the whole routine. We dance in pairs, sometimes nicely choreographed with one another, other times we bust out into our own solo. Some of us love that solo moment, shining in the light that's all for us. And you switch partners, change dance troupes, the music changes, the scene shifts, but you pirouette the best that you know how. Shimmy shimmy ya. Sometimes, like a square dance, you end up back with the partner you started off with. I overheard a lovely story while I was riding the train the other day. It's been so long since I've taken the train downtown, I miss it so much. I'm suc...
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes I can put my hair into a ponytail now. Up high or down low, it doesn't matter, my hair can all be pulled back. You may ask "big deal?" But it IS a big deal for me. Ever since I finished radiation almost 3 years ago I've been waiting for my hair to "even out." Sure I could pull it back, but there would be an obvious spot at the back and side of my head where it'd be obvious my hair was on the thinner/lacking side compared to the rest of my head. Now I'm happy to report that everything looks great, except for my missing sideburn on the right. But I'm glad for that, I've always hated my "Asian" sideburns. I'm hoping to permanently rid myself of the left one so that everything ends up more symmetrical. Laser or electrolysis, I don't know yet. Then there was the whole issue of how long it takes for my hair to grow. I swear my hair is crawling along...a lot slower than it used to. I look at my pi...

Miss you much I miss my mom, and it hasn't even been a week yet. Since my mom is away it was my duty/job/pleasure to test out the paraffin hand spa we gave her for Christmas since it would be too late to return it if it were faulty if we waited for her to try it out. It took us forever to find a paraffin spa. I saw them everywhere last year, this past Christmas they were practically non-existent. I'm glad we found one for her, though. It was deliciously wonderful using it tonight. Though the first time you heat it it takes 3-4 hours to melt. And then, true to my style, I made a mess 'cuz the lid dipped into the wax and splashed...right onto our hardwood floor. (Hehe, waxed the floor.) Waiting for the wax to heat/melt I watched my Ally McBeal DVD (Thanks so much, Daisy!). I've forgotten how much I've missed Ally McBeal. With all the shows coming out on DVD, you'd think they'd release the Ally McBeal seasons. I mean, this DVD (which is the only ...

Why don't you get on your knees and smile like a doughnut? I stole that from Civic's photoalbum of his trip to Hong Kong. When I heard that stupid pick-up line quoted above (no, noone used it on me, haha) this picture was the first thing I thought of. Hehe. My mom's over in the Philippines right now. Unfortunately, it's not exactly a pleasure trip as my uncle (the youngest in their family) has been diagnosed, is being treated for, and is battling leukemia. I miss my mom already and I wish my uncle all the best and a speedy recovery. On Wednesday, Latina, her fiance, and I went to Jonas' Restaurant for dinner. From the looks of it, I'd say it's the only Hungarian restaurant we have here in Calgary. I had the breaded catfish with homemade potatoes followed by a crepe with chocolate sauce and crushed nuts for dessert. It was a kitschy little restaurant, very friendly atmosphere. We can't wait to go back. Plus, it was great having her fiance ...
Another year over and a new one just begun A resolution of sorts: blog more. Or if I can't blog, at least jot something down in a notebook. Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve. No need to share any of the sordid details 'cuz New Year's Eve is kind of like going to Vegas. What happens that night is all hush. Scout's honor. Ha, knowing me, yeah right! But it's a blackmailer's dream for some. Too bad it doesn't bother me so much, so you can't blackmail me anyway. However, sharing my stories would implicate others and I've promised I wouldn't corrupt their reputations. Chain of events=family and friends at home -- move on to Tequila -- midnight! -- last call for martinis at Mortal Coil (Step Into The Light, please.) -- noshies at Denny's. The hot pizza guy from the old Metro days is still working the tequila shooter bar over at Tequila. It was nice seeing an old familiar face. And to be remembered, too! Aft...
Feed the need I need to blog. Despite time constraints and laziness and everything I need to blog. So here I go. Whatever comes out comes out. Mijo's my idol, do you know that? I'm crazy about the guy, and not in a Fatal Attraction demented sort of way. He picked me up twice..TWICE...this holiday season, even if I didn't need picking up, he picked me up. He is like the bestest pal I haven't even met yet. :) On Christmas Eve I ran into mr. guy at the mall. It was far from a catastrophe 'cuz it was nice seeing him again, but it was also bittersweet as it was a reminder as to why I can't really be friends with him anymore. Oh well. "Oh well" she says? "Oh well" I say 'cuz the very next day (yes, Christmas Day) I got an unexpected call from Mijo! I haven't heard that boy's voice in ages! Our conversation, however brief, was a superhappyecstatic present to me! And then today, before all the chaos of New Year's Eve ...
I'm not going to make it, boss. Work and shopping has whipped me into a perpetual state of exhaustion...and we haven't even begun the whole family togetherness-madness. I think if Christmas preparations don't sap me of all my energy the holiday socials will certainly finish the job. I still love Christmas. One particular customer said: "I was watching you work while waiting to get some service (uh-oh, what did I do wrong?) and the entire time you had a smile on your face. I don't know how you can stay so poised and cheerful in all this chaos." What can I say? I honestly do love my job. It may be "beneath" my potential and the kind of pay I deserve, but I enjoy my time on the salesfloor. In all my retail positions over the years it's not the customers that irk me, usually I love them, and for sure I have fun with my coworkers...it's the management that always spoils it for me. So on the days when they leave me to just do my thang...
Housekeeping Wow, over 2 weeks without blogging. It's not that I didn't want to write down my thoughts and memories, it just takes up more time than I've got right now. I can't even explain where all my time goes...it just goes. Blondie had a sex-toy party (she had booked it at a booth when we were at the sex show. I hadn't intended on buying anything 'cuz money's extremely tight right now (Christmas and all) but I have been ridiculously self-indulgent the past month or so. While they did tempt me with that "cadillac of vibrators" that I fell in love with at the show I had enough mental presence to understand I just don't have $190 that I'm willing to fork over for such a thing. Even the lesser version at $75 was too rich for me...though I do admit that at $75 it was a steal based on what I've seen in the past. I did buy this stuff called "Flower Balm" (dumb name, I know) that heats and tingles your "flower....
Keep in touch Wow, I have no idea where the time goes...but I'm pooped. Friday night was practically a write-off socially. Our store had the lame-brained idea to hold a "Moonlight Madness" and hence had hourly clock specials until 11 P.M. when the rest of the mall (and our store, usually) closed at 9. The specials were apparently not good enough to draw the customers in since our store was pretty much dead after 9:30. What made it worth it was I got a good bit of Christmas shopping done. Perhaps that's where they made the most money, keep your employees in late so that they take advantage of the clock specials/late hours 'cuz obviously customers aren't doing the same. Not that I took advantage of the clock specials...I wasn't fooled either. So Friday all I did after work was Denny's with Daisy. Just relaxing. Unfortunately, Civic didn't come out with us due to the late hour. Such a fuddy duddy *teases* Saturday was different since I d...
