It's Time To Straighten Out This Asian Fetish Bullshit

There are a number of blog-like postings meandering around the internet regarding an affliction running increasingly rampant among my anglo brethren -- the asian 'fetish'. You may find one such article

They're good articles. And they are amusing. Hee hee har har. However, I feel that those of us with a legitimate physical preference for certain types of women need to have our voices heard.

First I want to break Asian fetishists into two distinct groups.

1) Hella Lame Fools
2) Connoisseurs

For an explanation of what Group 1 Hella Lame Fools consist of, please refer to the above linked website. A few highlights:
- Lame use of native language excerpts
- Lame attempts at old world food/history knowledge
- Really bad taste in Asian girls (Tapping All Things Asian)
- Tendency to hastily marry

Group 2 Connoisseurs are an endangered breed. Most would mistakenly include them as part of the same species as Hella Lame Fools. However, the differences are far too striking to make such an overinclusive grouping of the two. A few distinguishing highlights:
- No lame flaunting of language, chop stick skills or old world history/food familiarity
- Standards
- The preference is not exclusive (Equal Opportunity Bone Dancer)

Yes, it is true, there is a spectrum of analysis here. Within the universe of those men among us who are attracted to the Asian female, there are the extremes, as I delineated above. But there are also those in between. Connoisseurs, arguably, are not even Asian Fetishists at all. For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to discuss the Average Connoisseur.

Yes, this is roughly autobiographical. We will call our hypothetical Connoisseur "D-man". It is "short" for Daryl.

The point of all this? Use the term Asian Fetish carefully. There is a difference between being a Hella Lame Fool and a Connoisseur. A man can have a preference without having the nasty label of Fetishist slapped on him.

Defining "Preference"

Women MAY have some difficulty really understanding this part. But every man has particular Visual-Sexual needs and desires. Some guys are into taller, skinnier, leaner type chicks while altogether avoiding brick-house-stacked-like-pancakes type chicks. I'm not going to get into personality because parallels can be drawn as well. A chick can have an unattractive personality, depending on circumstance. I am also not going to discuss the alleged mutual exclusivity of physical and emotional attraction. It is NOT at issue right now.

That being said, every man has a unique mixture of what his sexual-animal wants to tap. Our man, D-man, therefore has his own unique set. A non-exhaustive list (note that there are some conflicting traits, this is normal):
- Body types: Range from petite to stacked. Voluptuosity is preferred over Anorexia.
- Complexion: Color is good, as are tans. Strange rashes, visible veins, inconsitency are not tolerated.
- Darker hair color preferred
- Height: This one is difficult. But as a general rule, the proportions possessed by taller females are troublesome.
- Size and Shape of "Accouterments" (tits and ass to the layperson): Ad Hoc (case by case) analysis required. This is also troublesome, but only because it is hard to verbalize. Certain shapes are preferred over others. Shape is much more determinative than size. High scores can result from a combination of both good size and shape, but, frequently, excellence in one factor (size or shape alone) can outweigh any deficiency in the other factor.
- Face: This is probably the factor where "exoticism" plays its strongest role. On the most disagreeable end of the spectrum, the connoisseur would place 'the average corn fed white girl from next door'. There is no attraction felt whatsoever for this class. Explanations range from plain ugliness to conjured memories of the faces of relatives (aunts and cousins). This is a fundamental facet of D-man's preference, and it is also the most arbitrary and difficult to dissect. More scientific study must be applied here. Fundamentally, D-man simply does NOT find corn fed white girls to be cute, period. No explanation is available at this point.

The factors above must be applied in a Totality of the Circumstances fashion. When this is done, the generalized picture of what D-man wants to get with is something like this: Average height, if not slightly on the short side; at least somewhat tanned in complexion; brunnette; average build; average accouterments; not your average corn fed white girl's face.

This is a very broad generalization. However, the applications of this grouping show some rather striking results. Asian girls are strongly selected for. And so are Latinas, Persian chicks, and White Brunettes. As a general rule, the excluded types are going to be Corn Fed White girls, generally.

The connoisseur knows what he likes and selects for it. There are no racial delineations drawn, necessarily. The fact of the matter is that the delineations are drawn according to certain physical attributes that are hard wired into the sexually primitive parts of the male Homo Sapien in question, D-man. The inadvertent consequence of these delineations may, at first glance, look like an Asian Fetish. This is not a correct conclusion.

Application of the Above Principles to the Hella Lame Fools

Probably what most fundamentally distinguishes the Hella Lame Fool from the Connoisseur are the factors applied in separating out attractive potential mates.

If you refer to the Connoisseur's factors that I laid out above, the factors are generally common sense. The Hella Lame Fool's mode of selection, on the other hand, is not common sense. In fact, it is rather artificial. And I believe that this is where everything goes to shit. This is where the adjectives "Hella" and "Lame" come from. "Hella Lame" roughly translates to "nonsensical". The Hella Lame Fool will typically tap anything Asian. Perhaps one of the most tell-tale signs that you are dealing with a Hella Lame Fool is that the objects of their affections are often Hella Skewed. They can be skewed in two ways, objectively and subjectively.

Objectively Skewed

Take a look at the couple as a whole, from a detached position -- horribly mismatched. Example: 6'5" Napolean Dynamite + 4'8" Mr. Miyagi With Pigtails. I'm not going to discuss the details here. Either you know what I'm talking about, or you don't. So go fucking find out. In which case, pay attention next time. There are a lot of these couples out there, and it's offensive.

Subjectively Skewed

Napolean Dynamite subjectively chooses mates that are:
1) Asian
2) Within view
Caveats:
1) What is an Asian? Fetishists are typically new to this concept. Everything looks good when you arrive. Everything looks clean and new. Everything is novel and fascinating. Everything is so interesting and shit. What do you end up with? Mr. Fetishist has no standards. He can't differentiate between 10s and 1s (1-10 Scale of Hotness). To him, everything is a ten. This can be inferred from statements like "I find Asian culture fascinating", "Chopsticks are superior to forks and knives", and the classic "I like Asian women because they're exotic."
2) Poor choices are made when one has not yet developed standards.
3) A lot of people in our country do not grow up with exposure to other cultures outside their own. Especially middle america as it pertains to far eastern peoples.
4)
Result: The fetishist will hook it up with the following:
1) Subservient
2) Poor or limited English
3) Objectively unattractive (sub-5 on the 1-10 hotness scale)
4) The living embodiment of the fantasy
5) Weird looking body and face. Probably entirely too skinny or fat. Super long body with short legs. Bad teeth and breath. Ratty hair. Strange fungal patches on the back of her arms. Bad posture. Etc. etc.
6) Altogether, just an unattractive girl that a Connoisseur wouldn't touch with a 10 foot bayonet.

The Hella Lame Fool is obviously not applying a functional test in selecting his mate from the pool of eligible maidens. Their are two explanations for such a poor choice:
1) His selection criteria is skewed or incorrect, or
2) His selection criteria is overly broad.

My belief is that it is just overly broad. However, this doesn't explain exactly how he ends up with such a poor selection. The explanation here due to the following natural forces that are beyond the fetishists control:
1) Most people are generally not widely seen as attractive. Beauty is rare and coveted. Odds are, if you pick at random, you get someone ugly.
2) On a subjective level, the Hella Lame Fool/Fetishist is a fish out of water. The subjective concept in his mind of what constitutes "Asian" is still infantile. He is likely to select, if you want to call it selecting at all, for that which is the most stereotypically "Asian" thing he can find. The Hella Lame Fool is drawing distinctions on a purely Racial level. This is an artificial delineation.

Racial Distinction is An Artificial Distinction

Human Sexuality does not operate on a Racial level. The concept of race is a very new one. The human race is roughtly 2.5 million years old. The concept of race did not develop until somewhere on the order of the last 10-100,000 years. There are more genetic differences between members of the same "race" then there are general genetic differences between the races on average.

The factors that each individual applies in selecting mates may often include race as a factor, however, this is a purely conscious choice. For example, "I want to marry a Jewish girl for X reasons." This doesn't have a lot to do with sex on its purest level though. We are physically attracted to someone for a number of physical reasons. We think they have a nice ass or a cute face, and we want to nail them. I really don't believe that the sexually primal part of our brains is thinking "now that is one fine specimen of what is commonly referred to as a Black man, I want his balls." I believe that a more proper explanation has to do with the physical traits possessed by that individual, which may or may not be shared exclusively by the members of that race. There are a lot of shared characteristics among the races.

Considering these shared characteristics, its easy to understand why the Connoisseur may prefer an Asian girl over a White girl, yet may also get totally stoked on a solid-as-hell American Indian girl. Connoisseurs are natural in their choices, and should not face condemnation for their preferences. Its not racial, its purely sexual.

Conversely, the Hella Lame Fool/Fetishist is just confused. With time, maybe the Fetishist will develop some taste and an ability to show some fucking respect.
